Sting vient d'annoncer qu'il sortira un nouvel opus chez Deutsche Grammophon au cours de l'automne prochain. Intitulé If On a Winter's Night..., ce disque a été inspiré par l'hiver et contient deux compositions originales (Lullaby for an Anxious Child, The Hounds of Winter), le reste de l'album étant constitué de reprises de chansons traditionnelles issues du folklore britannique (The Snow It Melts the Soonest, A Soalin', Gabriel's Message...).
If On a Winter's Night... a été produit et arrangé par Robert Sadin (Herbie Hancock). Il fera suite à Songs from the Labyrinth paru en 2006. Sortie prévue le 29 septembre 2009
